One lucky lottery player in Pennsylvania is $214 million richer after winning Monday night's Powerball jackpot. The winning ticket was sold at AJ's Pizza on Harts Run Road in Indiana Township. The ticket matched all six winning numbers: 16, 20, 28, 30, 61, and the Powerball of 14.

Ticket Purchaser Has Option of Receiving $214 Million Jackpot

The lucky ticket purchaser has the option of receiving the $214 million jackpot in one lump sum or as an annuity paid out over 29 years. The lump sum option is currently valued at $158.3 million. The winner has not yet come forward, but Pennsylvania lottery officials say they have until August 21, 2024, to claim their prize.

Pennsylvania's First Powerball Jackpot Win in Over a Year

This is the first Powerball jackpot win in Pennsylvania since August 2021. The last jackpot winner in the state was a Philadelphia man who won $128 million. The Powerball jackpot has been growing since there has not been a jackpot winner since June 5, 2022. The jackpot amount had reached $214 million, making it one of the largest jackpots in Powerball history.
